Exclamation vitamins and suppliment

I know we are all agreed that the best way to stay healthy is to eat a well balanced diet, but what do you think about vitamins and suppliments?..... do you think they actually offer any sort of value to the body, or indeed are they just a waste of money?

I definitely think they help if you are lacking in certain areas- I have hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue and I have noticed if I stay on my regular vitamins/herbal supplements I feel really good- If I don't take them I really start to go backwards and feel heavy fatigue and just real crappy. So, I think they are definitely worth taking- what i have always done is take something you are deficient in and if it doesn't help then just quit taking it. But, with everything you have to give it time to work meaning a good 2-3 months for something to build in the system- I think too many people quit and then they don't see the benefits they could gain from taking the supplements.
